EcoFlow TITAN Series Brings Whole-Home Backup Power Within Reach
EcoFlow just launched its TITAN Series, a new lineup of home battery systems built to do two things most backup setups can’t: keep your whole house running through an outage, and actually lower your electric bill every day in between. The series goes on sale today, Oct. 13, on EcoFlow’s site.
Three models, one platform
TITAN comes in three flavors — TITAN 5000 Plus, TITAN 5000, and TITAN 5000 Classic — all built on the same 5kWh base unit. Need more backup? Capacity scales in 5kWh increments all the way up to 30kWh, so the system can grow with your household instead of forcing you to size everything up front.
- Real output, not just capacity: The flagship TITAN 5000 Plus delivers 7.2kW straight from its 5kWh battery — enough to run a 3-ton central AC, fridge, TV and lights at once without a soft-starter — and surges to 10kW with compatible solar via EcoFlow’s X-Fusion 2.0 PV Boost.
- New high-voltage architecture: A 200V platform, Silicon Carbide components and an industry-first 40160 tabless 2C LFP cell cut current, heat and part count compared to older designs.
- Smarter energy management: Paired with the new Smart Home Panel 10 (10 circuits, 50A whole-home current), TITAN runs on EcoFlow’s OASIS 3.0 system, which uses Time-of-Use automation to charge when grid rates are cheap and discharge during peak pricing — aimed at shrinking your monthly bill, not just backing it up.
- Faster, cheaper installs: Breakers and cables come pre-assembled and pre-wired from the factory, which EcoFlow says cuts field labor by up to 80% and speeds up installs by up to 8x — as little as 7 days start to finish, with roughly two hours of actual on-site work.

Why build it this way
EcoFlow says the sizing here isn’t arbitrary: the company looked at usage data from more than 100,000 households and found that 80% of them stay below roughly 6,700W for 99% of the time. TITAN’s baseline 5kWh/7.2kW unit is built around that real-world demand instead of over-engineering (and over-pricing) for worst-case loads nobody actually hits.
“Whole-home backup has traditionally required households to choose between the power they want and the cost and complexity they’re willing to take on. With TITAN, we’re giving more families a practical way to get the power they need, while also helping them manage energy more intelligently every day.”
Brian Essenmacher, Head of U.S. Business Development at EcoFlow
During a blackout, TITAN switches to battery power in under 20 milliseconds — fast enough that routers, pumps and anything else plugged into a backed-up circuit shouldn’t even blink.

Pricing and availability
The TITAN Series is available starting today. TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus land in the $3,000 range as standalone units, or around $7,000 with the Smart Home Panel 10 and installation included. TITAN 5000 Classic comes in lower, around $2,000 standalone or $5,000 with panel and installation. EcoFlow says more detailed pricing will be posted on Nov. 3, so treat these as ballpark figures for now.
